This should lend further credence to that. It increases the "no-escape" zone for a hostile aircraft by about three times. That these were the same for the 36 Rafales ordered by PM Modi is made clear by the joint statement of April 10, 2015 issued by French President Francois Hollande and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which reads: "…that the aircraft and associated systems and weapons would be delivered on the same configuration as has been tested and approved by Indian Air Force…"There is much noise about the huge costs at which the 36 Rafales have been contracted for. Perhaps only Mr Modi, national security adviser Ajit Doval and Anil Ambani knew.

The decision to buy 36 Rafales was made without consulting the IAF. It is a very capable aircraft and we are waiting to fly it. The Rafale is a top class fourth-generation fighter. (stylised as RCom), just defaulted on a major foreign loan and its future ability to fulfil its Rafale offsets commitment should now be in doubt.A few months after Narendra Modi and then French President Francois Hollande signed the deal, our old friend Anil Ambani signed a deal with Julie Gayet, Mr Hollande’s actress-girlfriend, on January 24, 2016 to jointly produce a film.In the Air Staff Qualitative Requirements (ASQR) provided by the Indian Air Force, there were 13 "India-Specific Enhancements" demanded by India in the 126-aircraft MMRCA contract. It is a beautiful aircraft. The IAF-deployed "spokesmen" have even been justifying the Rafale purchase because the package includes the Meteor air-to-air missile.42 billion euros as the screw air compressor cost of the bare planes; 1. That has now been truncated to just 36 completely built-up units. Since they are expendable, and presumably meant to be expendable, they should be part of revenue expenditure.13 billion (@1 euro=$1. But his junior, the deputy air chief, Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar, speaking to reporters at the eighth heli-power seminar, said: "Those who are claiming such numbers, I think they are misinformed and probably not aware of the facts that are known to us in the Indian Air Force.1 billion euros. Deo, an accomplished officer who designs and builds smart weapons in his front yard for a hobby, speaking to the media on the sidelines of a recent Centre for Air Power Studies and Confederation of Indian Industries seminarm said: "Those criticising the deal must understand the procurement procedure

While, certain innovative Auto Reflective Part Mould Manufacturers technologies such as Plasmacluster Ion clean as well as refreshes the air, they sanitize the air by removing viruses, bacteria, dust mites, and mould along with capturing 99.5, which constitutes only 25 per cent of air, but neglect the other prominent pollutants which constitute the other 75 per cent indoor air pollution.Air purifiers are meant to remove indoor air pollutants such as pollens, allergens, cooking fumes, dust mites, mould spores, pet dander, tobacco smoke, and so on. The difference can be felt when you are able to sleep and breathe with ease.

While air purifiers are meant to eliminate volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are emitted from products like carpets, curtains, paints, and cleaning products along with particles such as mold, pollens, pet dander, and, dust, but they cannot lift the dust settled on the surface of furniture and on the floor. To eliminate odour, one needs air purifiers with activated carbon filters as HEPA filters do not kill odours. The fundamental purpose of an air purifier is to improve the quality of air and reduce the number of leaves from work and school even if it is used for 8 to 10 hours a day. Carbon air purifiers help in reducing contamination of the air, but they have a lower efficiency in removing allergens and airborne particles.3 microns. Air purifiers are not about instant gratification. So there is no way air purifiers can replace dusting and cleaning.97 per cent of all particles larger than 0. For example, if you smoke in an AC room, then the smoke just keeps circulating unless there is a purifier.(source). If you are able to sleep better, do not wake up with clogged nose or chocked throat, your asthma is in control, your medications are reduced, and the number of leaves that you or your children take has reduced, then those are the benefits and uses of a good air purifier. While buying an air purifier, consumers first need to understand their requirements as there are various types of air purifiers available in the market, all of them different and good at what they are supposed to do. An air purifier is a purification solution and should be user-friendly, quiet, sturdy and have a good filter.

There is a saying: "Everything is difficult until you Do"., the specific launch opportunity and the desired duration of the trip to Mars. These options could be used for carrying assets to Mars Surface as the time required to travel is much longer.Aerocapture is a related but more extreme method in which no initial orbit-injection burn is performed. Reducing the exposure to zero gravity and radiation events helps reduce the risk to the crew. Several small correction burns are then used to raise the periapsis and perform final adjustments. If correctly oriented, this can increase the deflection angle above that of a pure gravity assist, resulting in a larger delta-v.. Further, from an elongated elliptical Earth orbit, the chemical propulsion is used and trans Mars injection in this case requires far less propellant. As Carl Sagan said, "Staying alive.Another option is to use Solar electric propulsion for orbit raising. An areostationary orbit or areosynchronous equatorial orbit is a circular areosynchronous orbit in the Martian equatorial plane about 17,032 km above the surface, any point on which revolves about Mars in the same direction and with the same plastic mould Manufacturers period as the Martian surface.

Solar electric propulsion could be used to raise the orbit of the spacecraft from LEO to a high Earth orbit, and thereby greatly reduce the propulsion requirements for Earth departure. For Mars, the actual propulsion requirements depend on several factors e.(Mylswamy Annadurai is Director, UR Rao Satellite Centre — formerly Isro Satellite Centre, Bengaluru). Last, but not least, is the science fiction writer’s romanticism of creating habitat on another planet.Cargo missions could use aerobraking or aerocapture techniques to minimise the propellant requirement for MOI. Another related technique is that of aerogravity assist, in which the spacecraft flies through the upper atmosphere and utilises aerodynamic lift instead of drag at the point of closest approach. Pilot missions mainly consist of cargo missions and an Earth return vehicle mission.Typically, a manned crew mission would be preceded by a number of pilot missions (at least 3 to 6). Instead, the spacecraft plunges deeply into the atmosphere without an initial insertion burn and emerges from this single pass in the atmosphere with an apoapsis near that of the desired orbit.

The government expects the scheme to lead to total production of about Rs 2,71,000 crore of components of ACs and LEDs and provide two lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities in next five years.. The selection of applicants will be done within 60 days.New Delhi: The production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for for white goods has received applications from 52 companies—including Daikin, Panasonic and Hitachi—cumulatively committing investments of Rs 5,866 crore. In the selection of companies, the focus will be on incentivising manufacturing of components/ sub-assemblies which are not manufactured in India in sufficient capacity. The PLI scheme notified on April 16 closed on September 15.As many as 31 companies have committed investments of about Rs 4,995 crore for AC components and 21 companies have committed investments of Rs 871 crore for LED components. The government expects value addition in the country to increase from 20 per cent to 80-85 per cent. For airconditioners, companies will be manufacturing compressors, copper tubing, aluminium stock for foils, control assemblies for IDU or ODU (indoor/outdoor unit), display units, brushless DC (BLDC) motors, among other components. The other companies which have filed applications include Mettube, Nidec, Voltas, Bluestar, Havells, Amber, EPack, TVS-Lucas, Dixon, RK Lighting, Uniglobus, Radhika Opto and Syska for manufacturing critical components of air conditioners and LED lights.Similarly, for LED lights, LED chip packaging, LED drivers, LED engines, LED light management systems, PCBs, including metal clad PCBs, and wire wound inductors will be manufactured in India. The scheme, with an outlay of Rs 6,238 crore, will be implemented between FY22 and FY29 and an incentive of 4 to 6 per cent will be given on incremental sales for five years subsequent to the base year direct driven air compressor and one year of gestation period. Mere assembly of finished goods is not being incentivised

It is pertinent to mention here that in 2016 Niti Aayog was also asked to draw up a list of CPSEs which could go in for strategic sale.DIPAM, after consulting ministries and CPSEs, has already identified huge tract of land and other assets of nine state-owned companies which will be hived off before they are put on the block for strategic sale."So far the disinvestment process was confined to corporate level."The enlistment of the land assets would have to happen first before the strategic disinvestment process starts. The approved framework shall be reviewed after two years for instituting any change including delegations on financial limits. It includes sale of non-core assets of any other CPSE after approval of competetent authority or the administrative ministry, and sale of such assets of sick or loss making CPSE. Enemy property refers to the assets which were left behind by people who migrated to Pakistan or China and are no longer citizens of India. Once the non-core assets are carved out, the sale of such assets and strategic disinvestment process can go on simultaneously," the official said. This is part of the overall plans of the government to lay down procedure and mechanism for monetisation of non-core assets of central public sector undertakings (CPSEs), which include mainly land and building. The Union Cabinet had last week approved laying down of institutional framework for monetisation of identified non-core assets of the CPSEs under strategic disinvestment and assets relating to immovable enemy property under air compressor pumps Factory the custody of Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI).So far this fiscal, the government has raised over Rs 56,064 crore by divesting stakes in state-owned companies. With regard to those CPSEs which are candidates for strategic disinvestment, the official said such companies would have to first list out the non-core assets which are to be hived off separately before the strategic disinvestment process starts. These include Dredging Corporation of India, HLL Lifecare, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd, Units/JVs of ITDC, Bhadrawati, Salem and Durgapur units of SAIL, Nagarnar Steel Plant of NMDC, Central Electronics and Ferro Scrap Nigam.Explaining the process, the official said the Cabinet approval for asset management framework would be applicable in four cases -- sale of non-core assets of CPSEs identified for strategic disinvestment, sale of immovable enemy property land which are not under litigation.

On Saturday, the air quality was in the ‘satisfactory’ category, with PM10 and PM 2. The month of July has received 177.5 levels at 99 and 47 microgramme per cubic metre (ug/m3) respectively. The continuing summer months are the only time when Delhiites can expect to breathe easy. The maximum number of days (92) since January this year was recorded in "moderate" category, followed by "very poor" (40). It will be in the ‘good’ category once it rains like that," said Scientist Gufran Beig, Project Director, SAFAR. At least two days continuous rain is required to clean up the atmosphere.New Delhi: Delhi China screw air compressor Factory might have recorded more rainfall than the season’s average in the last two months, but the ongoing showers have failed to give any "good" air quality day till now. The air quality has touched the "severe" level four times till now this year. Four days were recorded in the "moderate" category.9 mm rainfall, more than the 194.0 mm.An Air Quality Index (AQI) between 0-50 is considered "good", 51-100 "satisfactory", 101-200 "moderate", 201-300 "poor", 301-400 "very poor", and 401-500 "severe".Experts had also warned that there are some particulate matters (PM) whose size varies between 0.5 mm average.8 mm of rainfall till Saturday, while the average is 129. "During the monsoon season, air quality will be ‘good’ when there is continuous rain for a day or two so that it washes off all the pollutants in the air which is not happening right now.The Supreme Court mandated Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) had earlier said that the secondary particles like nitrates and sulphates, which form in the air from primary particles, might be difficult to wash off. Since June 1, when the monsoon season officially began here, Delhi has recorded 217.The national capital has not seen a single day in terms of ‘good’ air quality this year despite recording more rainfall than the season’s average. Even last year, Delhi didn’t witness a single day, which could be termed "good", as per data provided by Safar (System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research), under ministry of earth sciences. However, this year, there was a dip in the air quality level on June 13 due to dust storms in western India that pushed the air quality level to ‘severe plus’, bringing to light that emergency level pollution could be a ‘summer-time problem’ too. D13. However, the rains failed to wash away some of the deadly air pollutants in the city’s air and according to experts, that is due to the intermittent spells of rain.1 micron and one micron, which continue to be present in Delhi’s air even after heavy rains. In fact, the national capital has not seen a single day in terms of "good" air quality this year. For the most part of July, the level has remained within the "satisfactory" category (17 days).Meanwhile, the meteorological department has said that the rainfall Delhi has received till now is in excess of the seasonal average

EY is the transaction advisor for Air India disinvestment. The government was to offload 76 per cent equity share capital of the national carrier as China oilless air compressor Factory well as transfer the management control to private players, as per the PIM."We had not envisaged a situation when there would be no bids.Asked if the government could look at selling entire 100 per cent in Air India, the official said, "We would look at simplifying some of the norms, but it would not be entirely different from what the thinking behind the disinvestment has been earlier".The alternative mechanism headed by the finance minister would decide the future course of action on Air India disinvestment, he had said soon after the EoI deadline ended. In a major setback, no initial bids were received for the Air India disinvestment when the deadline for submission of Expression of Interest (EoI) ended on May 31. Disinvestment of Air India is very much on the table," a government official said. After no bidders put in their Expression of Interest (EoI) for the strategic disinvestment of Air India and its two subsidiaries last month, the civil aviation ministry is now gathering inputs from transaction advisor to understand the reasons on the failure to attract bidders. The transaction would involve Air India, its low cost arm Air India Express and Air India SATS Airport Services Pvt Ltd..Officials said the ministry is consulting the transaction advisor on the inputs they have received from the market about the disinvestment plan. A government official said the ministry would look at which provisions of the Preliminary Information Memorandum (PIM) needs to be reworked. On May 31, Civil Aviation Secretary R N Choubey had said the government was expecting better participation for the Air India stake sale and indicated that there could be a re-think on the strategy. This would help in understanding what were the factors that may have held back the investors from bidding for Air India, they added. According to officials, more clarity might be required with regard to foreign fund managers in the context of Air India disinvestment. As per the disinvestment proposal that failed to attract any bidders, over Rs 33,000 crore debt would have remained with Air India.New Delhi: The government will continue to pursue disinvestment of debt-laden Air India and revised bidding norms are likely to be finalised soon, officials said, even as the stake sale proposal elicited muted response from the investors. The latter is an equal joint venture between the national carrier and Singapore-based SATS Ltd.However, they did not elaborate on the issues involved. The ministry is likely to first send the revised PIM to the evaluation committee, an inter-ministerial grouping under the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and then to the core group on disinvestment headed by the cabinet secretary. The national carriers debt burden was about Rs 50,000 crore at the end of March 2017.After deliberations by these two groupings, the revised proposal would be put up before the alternative mechanism for Air India disinvestment that is headed by the finance minister, by the end of this month, officials said

Nineteen mice breathed in filtered air, and 19 breathed polluted air for 6 hours per day, 5 days a week for 16 weeks. Chronic sinusitis can cause congestion, pain and pressurein the face, and a stuffy, drippy nose.Washington: Air pollution in cities like New Delhi or Beijing may cause people to have year-round runny noses and chronic sinus problems, warn scientists includingone of Indian origin.Scientists have long known that smog, ash and other particulates from industrial smokestacks and other sources that pollute air quality exacerbate and raise rates of asthma symptoms, but had little evidence of similar damage from those pollutants to the upper respiratory system. The new findings have broad implications for the health and well-being of people who live in large cities and industrial areas with polluted air, particularly in the developing world.Although human population studies have linked air pollution to chronic inflammation of nasal and sinus tissues, direct biological and molecular evidence for cause and effecthas been scant. They saw many more white blood cells that signal inflammation, including macrophages, neutrophils and eosinophils, in the mice that breathed in the polluted air compared with those that breathed in filtered air. For example, the mice that breathed in the polluted airhad almost four times as many macrophages than mice that breathed filtered air.5 micrometers or less, which excludes most allergens, like dust and pollen.

The aerosolized particles, although concentrated, were 30 to 60 per cent lower than the average concentrations of particles of a similar size in cities like New Delhi, Cairoand Beijing."Keeping this barrier intact is essential for protecting the cells in the tissues from irritation or infection from other sources, including pollen or germs," he said. Numerous studies have reported significant socialimplications of chronic sinonasal disease, including depression, lost productivity and chronic fatigue. The researchers used water to flush out the noses and sinuses of the mice, and then looked at the inflammatory and other cells in the flushed-out fluid under a microscope. To see how pollution may directly affect the biology of the upper airways, the researchers exposed 38 eight-week-old male mice to either filtered air or concentrated Baltimore air with particles measuring 2."Weve identified a lot of evidence that breathing in dirty air directly causes a breakdown in the integrity of the sinus and nasal air passages in mice," said Ramanathan."In places like New Delhi, Cairo or Beijing, where people heat their houses with wood-burning stoves, and factories release pollutants into the air, our study suggests people are at higher risk of developing chronic sinus problems," saidMurray Ramanathan, associate professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the US.. Researchers found that mice continually exposed to dirty air have that China air compressor pumps direct biological effect.

Geneticist Darren Griffin of the University of Kent commented that this was "really a very exciting study indeed".Given its size, it has been impossible to fit the distrophin gene into an emptied virus, which is used to deliver modified genes to patients.3 million base pairs of coding "letters".Muscle wasting and breathing and heart problems follow, and patients rarely survive into their 40s.Paris: Researchers have used gene editing to reverse symptoms in dogs of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a muscle-wasting and life-shortening disease that affects one in 5,000 baby boys..They injected the dogs with "microdystrophin" -- a compressed version of the dystrophin gene which is one of the largest in the human body with 2."Duchenne muscular dystrophy is caused by genetic mutations that interfere with production of dystrophin, a protein needed for healthy muscles. The dogs symptoms remained in check two years after receiving a single injection, a team reported Tuesday in the journal Nature Communications.Successful treatment of a large mammal is a crucial step on the road to finding a treatment for human sufferers of DMD.The results, said the team, were "paving the way for human clinical trials.Dogs given the treatment showed "significant restoration of muscle function with a stabilisation of clinical symptoms for more than two years after injection," the researchers said in a statement."The disease has long been a target for gene therapy and it is only to be hoped that sufficient funds can be awarded for this research to reach its natural conclusion and go into full clinical trials," he said via the Science Media Centre.Boys affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy develop muscle weakness in their first year of life, and generally become wheelchair-bound before the age of 15.The international team Plastic Rattan Stool Mould developed a new type of gene transfer therapy to restore dystrophin expression in affected dogs
